No Pressure Font

This typeface’s starting point was one of the first typography classes I had with Britt Moricke during my first year at the academy. Our first assignment was to design a letter in an hour, so I came up with this black and white stripped letter ‘N’.

The “No pressure” font embodies my experience as a first year student abroad, one of the most shifting moments of my life, in which I learned how to put less pressure on myself when it comes to my creative process.

In terms of process, after creating the first letter and coming up with this idea, I hand-drawn the remaining letters and edited them in Photoshop, as well as printed them.
